The Jericho podcast was created to raise awareness and explore the topic of abuse in relationships for young people.

Through expert interviews and in-depth discussions, Jericho covers a wide range of essential topics: from understanding consent and navigating relationships, to recognising the risks of sexual exploitation and the role pornography plays in shaping harmful perceptions. Each episode is designed to provide young listeners with practical advice, empowering them to stay informed and safe.

Available in three languages, Italian, French and Greek, Jericho opens up crucial conversations in different cultural contexts, offering valuable insights to young audiences across Europe.

Handout

The handout ‘What if I am not as safe as I think I am?’ is a practical guide to taking care of your body and feelings in your relationships. It includes information on identifying dangerous situations, understanding consent and reporting abuse. It also provides self-reflection questions to help young people evaluate their relationships and seek support when needed.

Policy Paper

JERICHO’s policy paper examines child sexual exploitation in France, Italy, and Greece, providing an overview of national contexts and existing legal frameworks. Based on extensive research and country reports, the paper offers recommendations for EU and national policy reform. With input from practitioners and a comprehensive literature review, the paper presents a cohesive analysis of the situation in these countries and proposes concrete actions to address this complex and sensitive issue

The animated webseries developed by Pistes Solidaires focused on true stories of young people. The episodes are part of Jericho’s awareness campaign, created to break the silence on the often-overlooked issue of child sexual exploitation in prostitution.

Policy recommendations to prevent child sexual exploitation – STOP

This policy paper brings together the research findings, training experiences, and good practices collected during the implementation of the STOP project across four European countries: Italy, Spain, Greece, and France. It offers a set of actionable recommendations aimed at policymakers, educators, and professionals working with minors, focusing on how to prevent the sexual exploitation of children in the context of prostitution. Drawing from comparative analyses, fieldwork, and feedback from workshops with frontline professionals, the paper highlights the urgent need for comprehensive education, institutional protocols, and multi-sector collaboration to effectively protect minors and respond to emerging risks, particularly in digital environments. The document also includes country-specific sections with tailored recommendations based on national data, field experiences, and research insights from each participating partner.

Awareness Raising Kit for professionals

The Awareness Rasing kit are category-differentiated guides-schools, social workers, local authorities, and youth workers, structured in a practical way to address the sensitive topic of healthy relationships and potential warning signs about child sexual exploitation, offering related professionals valuable insights and tools. The kit is structured to promote understanding and practical application, with an introduction to familiarize participants with the topic and define key concepts to ensure a shared perspective. Key sections address warning signs, effective attitudes, and actionable guidelines for providing ongoing support and encouraging open expression among adolescents. The guide concludes with a question-and-answer section to facilitate resource sharing and participant involvement.

STOP Project training for student

This document summarizes the experience of the training sessions delivered to students and VET as part of the STOP project, aimed at raising awareness on prevention of child sexual exploitatio, healthy relationships and digital safety. Conducted in collaboration with local educational institutions, universities, shelters educators, VET students, the trainings involved various educational figures and used interactive methods to explore topics such as child sexual exploitation, prevention of child abuse, prevention of child exploitation online, consent, personal boundaries, online grooming, and gender-based violence. The document outlines key activities, outcomes, and feedback from participants, highlighting the importance of early education in promoting respect, awareness, and protection among young people and adults.
